Situated on the eastern side of the Great Dividing Range and backing onto the Tallaganda State Forest, Cheiron Park is only a 40 minute drive to Queanbeyan, an hour to the heart of Canberra and approximately 3 hours from Sydney, via Goulburn and Braidwood (only 20 minutes drive to the North of Cheiron Park).
Cheiron Park boasts 130 acres of lush grazing pastures, with the gently sloping hills and mature native trees providing natural shelter from the elements for our residents.
The natural herd environment fits beautifully into Cherion Park's open paddock and dam structure. When extra care and individual attention is required, residents can be yarded in 6 small paddocks, contained by a horse safe PVC electrified fence system. There is also one under cover stable for use if required.

If you want your much loved horse to retire, and have agonised over the traditional methods for this, an alternative is now available which will meet the demands of the true horse lover. | Testimonials'I worried about what to do with my beautiful Bobbie now that he was too old for us to enjoy our wonderful rides around Centennial Park in Sydney. I knew he deserved a wonderful retirement, yet I was astounded that I couldn't find a facility that offered the service I was looking for. That was until I was referred to Anne and the majestic beauty of Cheiron Park. Bobbie has been in retirement now for 12 months at Cheiron Park and I am so pleased with how he is living and looking. I recently visited him (and his new friends) and was so overcome with emotion that the final phase of his life was so perfect. Thank you Cheiron Park, you have made this horse lover and her old horse very happy'.
